Change is something that many fear, and avoid. Without change, we can't always get what we want and deserve. Change is the key factor in growth and opportunity. Change is what allows us to step away from situations that are no longer fueling our soul, but instead harming it. Change allows us to find opportunities and go on journeys that we may have never know we could experience in our current lives. Progress will never come from staying in the same spot forever. Nothing exciting or worth talking about ever comes from decisions based in fear. Liberation comes from releasing fear and the embracing of changes. Part of making change is doing things that make you feel uncomfortable and possibly anxious. Although something may make us anxious or cause stress that does not mean the change should not be made. Usually the best changes and chances we take cause some type of anxiety or stress before we go through with them. But once we reach the other side and actually make the change, a feeling of triumph can often be felt. The anxiety disappears because we are finding something that we didn’t even know would make us truly happy. A big reason people avoid change is because they do not like unpredictability and so they feel uneasy making changes without knowing the outcome. The reason people fear unpredictability is because they may fail or make the wrong decision. No chance is ever a certain chance regardless of how much research or how predictable you may think it may be.
The one thing that most people don't think about is what is the mindset you are in when you are making a change. Are you making the change out of desperation or because you want to have an improved life? Often changes made out of desperation, will fail because the energy behind the decision was negative. If a change is made to move away from negative circumstances or to improve life, the decision will typically succeed because the energy behind the decision was positive. When making changes, the person must believe that change is going to work, or the change will not work because of the negative vibe you put towards it. The best way to make a change that will last is to move forward into changing, but detach from a defined outcome. When you work towards making a positive change, your mindset must be positive and believe that what you are doing what is the best possible choice in that moment. Always make choices based upon you best possible options, not the most comfortable options. There are two options to making change, you either fear it or embrace it. If you want to embrace change, you must do things that are outside of your norm. You must try and experience things you have never done before and also embrace new people that come along with the new experiences. Many of us tend to stick to groups and things that are familiar to us, and keep our lives as comfortable and low stress as possible. But if you embark on the new, you can likely find a new sense of self. No self-discovery was ever accomplished by staying within the same state of being you have always been in. Embrace change and you can embrace a new part of yourself. Find that you, that is brave and excited. Be that brave and excited person all the time, the one that lives out fulfilling experiences by makes changes and taking chances.
When we are children we are usually told that we need to go to college and pick a profession that we can find a job in easily in our area and make money from it. But, often times we pick a profession and we do not know what our life purpose truly is. Most times we are told that following our dreams is impractical and won't make us any money. But, who says that our dreams are meant to make us money? Dreams are given to us as a means to understand what our purpose in life can be if we follow what our gut is telling us. Dreams are ideas given to us, so that if we follow them we can find a fulfilling happiness on a daily basis. Each of us is given ideas and thoughts on a reoccurring basis that we can either follow or disregard. If we disregard these dreams and thoughts of what we could possibly do, then they will continue to reoccur in our minds throughout our lives. Those dreams can begin as a child or even in high school, or even later in life in our 20's and 30's and then they will continue to reoccur until they are fulfilled. A dream can come to us as a notion or a phrase. The dreams can come to us in bits and pieces to us throughout several years and we may often not understand what this dream means to us or how to interpret them. When we get notions or pieces of dreams that is the time to study them rather than disregard those thoughts. The ideas are given to us like a seed that is being planted in a garden, and our mind has to give it water to expand and grow. As we continue to try and understand our dreams more information will come to us regarding how to fill them and the right people will come along to help us follow through with them. But, dreams are not for the weak at heart, they are for the people that have faith in a simple idea that their gut has given them to follow. No matter your age or where you are in your life, it is never too late to follow that gut feeling.
Explore what you always dreamed you could do. Place faith in that dream and know that it will happen once you put the steps forward in making it come true. Dreams are not continuously given to us to ignore, they are given to us so that what can pursue what will make us and our time in the world complete. Dreams can be scary and seem impossible. Dreams are possible or the idea would have never been given to you from the universe. The idea would not continuously be shown to you if the universe did not want you to have it. So as you live your life, think about whether you are living your dream or whether you keep ignoring it. If you are ignoring it chances are you currently don't feel like you have a meaningful purpose or you are unhappy at your job. If you were to be following your dream, you would enjoy waking up every morning and be excited to live out your passions all day. Only money and stability comes from a career, but true happiness comes from following your dreams. But most often if you were to follow your dreams the universe will reward you because of the effort you put in to get there. As you go forward in life think about this, do you want to live being as fulfilled as possible , or do you want to live never knowing what it would have been like to have your most fulfilled life?
When we go through life, we often forget that all things that we have in front of us can be taken away at any given moment. Our jobs, our family members, or home can all be gone within a moment. As a society that always feels like we are lacking something, we often forget to have gratitude for the things that are right in front of us. The lives that we lead are lives that we should always give thanks for. People often think if they had something more in their life then it would be fulfilling. If I just had that job, more money, a nicer house, luxury car, luxury vacation or a partner then I would be much happier. Fulfillment actually comes from being grateful for the life you are already living and not wanting more that what already exists. Fulfillment and happiness are a frame of mind and not a way of life. Gratitude on a regular basis can transform your life and how you look at it. Gratitude shifts the energy in your life and brings more of what you want. By being grateful for what you have already, life will only become more positive and you will attract more good things. Instead of always feeling like your life is lacking something, be grateful and have the mindset that your life is already full plus some extra. We all need to consider what it is we need and what it is we want in life , and realize that they are two different things. Instead, be grateful your immediate needs are met. Simple things such as a home, food, and clothing are all we really need. Everything else besides those are just things we feel we want to have to live. There are millions of people that do not even have their simple needs being met, and that is why we should feel grateful when we do. Gratitude is also a way to shift the dynamic in relationships and negative situations. By showing gratitude in a relationship, the other person may feel appreciated. If you fail to show appreciation in a relationship or a job those things can be taken from you. Remember to always look at what is in front of you on a daily basis and be thankful that you are able to have this life to live. We are only given one life and the life we are given is something to be thankful for. So that next time, you think to complain or criticize remember that you have many things in this moment to be happy and grateful for instead. When you remember to be grateful, the world will remember to show you thanks by rewarding you with positive things back .
